Hi, I'm Kristy!
Business owner, photographer, animal lover, DIYer, home cook, adventurer, and newbie blogger! I like to do it all! Born and raised in Northwestern Pennsylvania, deep in the heart of farmland, I always knew I belonged in wide-open spaces, but never knew where that might be. Low and behold, after meeting and marrying the love of my life (Chris) out on the east coast during my college years, we got married and wound up right back in Corry, PA in the rolling hills of God’s country.
In 2018, we bought 105 acres with a farmhouse that had been around for over 100 years. Since day one, we have gutted and renovated the entire house and have had an endless supply of DIY projects ever since. This home has brought us our biggest challenges along with our greatest source of accomplishment and pride.
I started this blog on a whim to share some of the many projects we do around our farm on a daily basis which include gardening (flowers and veggies), DIY projects, home improvements, barn renovations, and animal care! We stay busy here with a barn full of horses, a miniature donkey, more barn cats than we can count, and our dog (Cody)! There’s never a dull moment and always something new to learn.
